We mainly use Balcan maple and Italian spruce wood when crafting our instruments.

Giuseppe Ornati was born in 1887. He was initially trained as a carpenter but later shifted his interest to violin making studying under the guidance of Carlo Moneta amongst others.
In 1903 he thus began working in the workshop of famed dealer Leandro Bisiach working alongside Gaetano Sgarabotto. Here he developed his personal style characterized by precision and a skilled craftsmanship as well as a softness in the finishing details.
